Frontend Developer

We are looking for a frontend developer to develop, test, and maintain web frontends used in a hardware-centric environment.

In this position you will:

  • Develop, test, improve, and maintain frontends for the embedded controller, cloud, and mobile
  • Create user-friendly web pages
  • Collaborate with back-end developers, UI/UX designers, and other departments close to the customers to improve usability
  • Get feedback from, and build solutions for, users and customers
  • Write functional requirement documents and guides
  • Create quality mockups and prototypes
  • Ensure high quality graphic standards and brand/UX consistency
  • Be involved in UX/UI design specification, development, testing, and technical reviews
  • Be a part of the Software team, however work closely with the rest of the RnD team, the Customer Success department, and Product management.

About you:

  • BSc degree in Computer Science or equivalent relevant background
  • Experience as Frontend developer an advantage
  • Experience with markup languages (HTML), and JavaScript, CSS, JSON, and popular frameworks.
  • Familiar with node.js/npm an advantage
  • Familiar with browser testing and debugging
  • In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment)
  • Understanding of layout aesthetics
  • Know Git, GitHub/GitLab or similar platforms
  • Familiar with issue tracking systems
  • Familiarity with UI/UX design and tools an advantage
  • Passion and pride for producing quality products
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Work well both individually and in a team
