After months of technical analysis and ongoing community feedback, YEF’s experts chose Pixii’s PowerShaper system with a capacity of100kW/250kWh, as the best option for a community battery designed for an inner-urban environment.
The PowerShaper system will be installed in local communities where it can support local infrastructure, store locally generated excess solar energy as well as support the grid during local high consumption periods due to e.g. EV charging. In addition the community batteries will be connected up in cloud services, enabling aggregation and participation in flexibility markets.
