Pixii Americas has entered into a partnership with Aegis, a Canadian provider of power solutions for telecom and other critical infrastructure. The collaboration supports Pixii’s long-term focus on telecom and strengthens its presence in the North American market.
Aegis Critical Energy Defence Corp works closely with large telecom operators and infrastructure owners across Canada, delivering power and backup solutions for sites where uptime, safety and lifecycle performance are critical. Through the partnership, Pixii and Aegis will work together to introduce Pixii’s modular battery energy storage and DC power solutions to address evolving requirements for resilient and grid-independent operation.
The solutions are designed for both new greenfield sites and retrofit of existing infrastructure, reflecting the realities faced by telecom operators as networks expand and modernise. In these environments, reliability over time, system safety and controllability are often more important than individual component performance.

The collaboration is at an early stage, with work ongoing to identify relevant use cases and deployment models together with customers.
