Pixii has been named Norway’s leading growth company as the winner of the Gazelle award. The Gaselle Award is a prestigious recognition by Dagens Næringsliv, awarded to companies that demonstrate sustained high growth and profitability.
The newspaper describes Pixii as “Norway’s most outstanding growth company” in the article of 31 January 2025.
“We have awarded the DN Gazelle prize for more than 20 years, and we do it because our readers love companies that are gunning it.” DN’s Editor in Chief Janne Johannessen said at the award ceremony in Oslo.
Karianne Oldernes Tung, Norway’s Minister of Digitalisation and Public Governance, took part in the award ceremony and commented:
“We need more companies that succeed in scaling their businesses, escape the valley of death, and really fly internationally.”
Commenting on Pixii as the winner, DN pointed to Pixii’s stellar sales growth from NOK 30 million in 2021 to NOK 680 million in 2023.
“We have been tracking the regional awards leading up to the national finale and noticed that we were competing against many excellent startups and growth companies. So we’re extremely proud to be named the national winner. This is a great recognition for a team that has pushed hard for international growth from Day 1.”
