Environmental protection

Our products help integrate renewable energy into the grid, reducing reliance on fossil fuels. Our operation across the world is not only looking at how our customers can achieve their sustainability goals but also the way we conduct our own business in a greener more sustainable way.

Our commitment to sustainable development and ethical leadership is embedded in every aspect of our business operations. Achieving ISO 14001 certification by 2024 marks a significant milestone in our environmental management. In addition, our membership in the UN Global Compact further aligns us with globally recognized principles for environmental responsibility, reinforcing our commitment to sustainability and transparency across all our operations.

We have initiated the collection of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions data for Scope 1 and Scope 2, laying a solid foundation for a comprehensive environmental management system that addresses both direct emissions from our operations and indirect emissions from the generation of purchased energy. Our commitment extends further as we plan to expand this data collection to include Scope 3 emissions by 2025. This expansion will provide us with a complete view of our environmental impact across the full value chain, from raw material procurement to the end use of our products, enabling us to implement more effective emission reduction strategies and environmental impact mitigation measures.

End-of-life product treatment is a fundamental principle of circular economy and waste minimization. So far, we have established partnerships with Renas and Batteriretur® in Norway, and are working to finalizing partnerships across the rest of Europe. These are concrete steps to manage the environmental impact of our products throughout their lifecycle.

Our ESG strategy reflects our vision to improve sustainability and ethical leadership in the energy sector. We understand that true leadership includes both economic performance and a commitment to environmental and social responsibility.

We aim to exceed current standards and contribute to a more sustainable and equitable future. This approach enhances our competitiveness and aligns with the global shift towards sustainability, promoting ethical leadership and environmental responsibility.
